An unusual Chavin Mace with a saucer-like midsection and flaring ends. The cream stone carving would have been a ceremonial offering rather than one used in battle and retains ancient encrustations and mineral deposits. One flared lip is restored and with ancient minor nicks to the edges. A most unusual design.
